Yes, Genève Aéroport provides a wrapping service for the luggage « Bag Wrap » on the Check-in level.

You can not use a bag to carry your bike. Cardboard bike boxes are sold at Swissport check-in counter 100 (generally opened from 04:00 to 21:00) for CHF 20.- each . The are no tools available.

For any questions relating to the carriage of bicycles by air (conditions, packaging, etc...), please contact the airline concerned directly.

The number of hold baggage allowed, their size and their weight, as well as the excess baggage rates vary from one airline to another.

Since Switzerland is not a member of the customs union established by the European Union (which also provides for the free movement of goods), customs controls remain in place.

The importation into Switzerland of plants, fruits, vegetables, cut flowers, seeds and other fresh parts of plants, soil and certain woods from countries outside the European Union (EU), the Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla and French overseas territories is prohibited.

The only fruit allowed to be imported into Switzerland without being subject to control are pineapples, coconuts, durians, bananas and dates from all countries.
