  • How do I know if my departure or destination station is eligible?

    There are over 380 eligible stations in the cantons of Bern, Fribourg, Jura, Neuchâtel, and Valais. You can check the list of eligible stations for more information.
  • How do I use my discount code?

    To use your discount code, follow these steps:

    Receive your code by email
    After filling out the online form, you will receive an email containing your discount code.

    Go to the SBB website
    Visit the SBB website at the following address: https://www.sbb.ch/en.

    Select your journey
    If you are travelling to Geneva Airport: Select your eligible departure station and the destination "Geneva Airport".
    If you are departing from Geneva Airport: Select "Geneva Airport" as the departure station, and your eligible destination station.

    Enter your travel details
    Enter the date of your journey for the selected route and search for your journey.
    At the end of the booking process, in the "Payment Method" section, enter the code received by email.

    For a return journey
    Request two discount codes: You need to fill out both forms A and B to receive a code, one for the outbound journey and another for the return journey.
  • What happens if the value of the discount is greater than the cost of the train journey ?

    If the value of the discount is greater than the cost of the train journey, the difference is lost and non-refundable.
  • Is the discount code valid for a round trip ?

    No, each discount code allows you to book a single journey on the SBB website or app.

    If you want a discount on both the outbound and return trips, you need to make two separate purchases on the SBB website or app.

    Please complete Form A and Form B to get two unique discount codes.
  • How do I find my flight number and airline reservation reference ?

    Flight Number: The flight number is usually indicated on your airline ticket, boarding pass, or in the confirmation email of your reservation. Generally, it is composed of the airline's code followed by numbers, for example, "LX2805" for a SWISS flight.

    Airline Reservation Number: The reservation number, also called the "booking code" or "PNR (Passenger Name Record)," can be found in the confirmation email of your reservation. This alphanumeric code is often composed of six characters and is used to access your booking online or during check-in.
  • How many discount codes can I request ?

    You can request a unique discount code for each individual journey by completing the appropriate forms for each trip. The discount code is calculated based on the number of passengers:

    • 10 CHF for 1 passenger,
    • 20 CHF for 2 passengers,
    • 30 CHF for 3 passengers,
    • 40 CHF for 4 passengers.

    Use the unique discount code on the SBB website or app to get the discount corresponding to the number of passengers.

  • Do children count as passengers for the discount ?

    Yes, each passenger is eligible for the discount, including children.
  • What types of tickets are eligible for the discount ?

    The discount codes apply to all types of fares and travel classes: full fare, half fare, reduced fare, in first or second class.
  • Can I use the discount for a train journey the day before or after my flight?

    Yes, you can benefit from this discount if you travel by train the day before your departure flight and/or the day after your return flight.
  • What should I do if I have not received my discount code by email ?

    If you have not received your discount code by email, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find the code, please contact us.
  • Can the discount code be transferred to another person?

    No, the discount code is personal and cannot be transferred to another person. It is reserved for the requester and any accompanying passengers (maximum 4 people).
  • What checks will be carried out ?

    A unique control code will be sent by email This control code will allow Geneva Airport to carry out checks on the booked train journey. This control code is necessary to validate that the train journey corresponds to your travel booking.
    Make sure to keep this reference, as it guarantees the validity of your discount in case of control.

    Accuracy of information
    Passenger information must match the information on the flight ticket. Any inconsistency between the provided information and your flight reservation may be detected. Please ensure that all provided information is correct.

    Consequences of fraud
    In case of fraud or false statement, you risk legal action and the cancellation of your discount.
