As a trained chef, Claude Nobs (founder of the Montreux Jazz Festival) instilled his passion for hospitality and gastronomy beyond the Festival: this is how the Montreux Jazz Café was created in 2008, conceived as a friendly place where food and music can blend together in a unique way.

The Montreux Jazz Cafés are real ambassadors of the Festival. They offer dishes prepared with the same passion in a unique atmosphere typically inspired by  « Montreux »  moments. On the menu, the famous B.B. Burger, the Quincy Jones-style cockerel or the succulent Ella’s Cheesecake.

The Festival’s audiovisual archives, registered in the UNESCO Memory of the World Register, are also a key element of the Montreux Jazz Cafés, built around the exclusive use of these images. A place where everyone can enjoy quality cuisine while discovering concerts, for the greater part never shown elsewhere.

Today, customers can enjoy these concerts just before taking their flight, while enjoying a good coffee with a view of the Tarmac. Whether on giant screens, on an individual Ipad or through sound umbrellas, there are many possibilities to revisit the years of the Montreux Jazz Festival.
