Another enhanced summer 2025 network for Genève Aéroport

04.03.2025

With the arrival of the summer season, Genève Aéroport expands its destination offering from late March 2025. This new schedule allows travelers to reach 125 destinations via direct flights, thanks to nearly 50 regular airlines.

Tbilisi, the Pearl of the Caucasus
Among these new connections, Tbilisi (TBS), the capital of Georgia (image), an emerging destination for travelers in search of cultural discoveries and enchanting landscapes, will be served by easyJet. The city is known for its blend of history and modernity. Its historic center, influenced by Persian, Ottoman, and Soviet cultures, its traditional thermal baths, dynamic food scene, and winemaking tradition make it an ideal stop for a summer stay.

Other new destinations from Geneva
easyJet is expanding its network in North Africa by serving Giza / Cairo (SPX), Marsa Alam (RMF), and Rabat (RBA), routes that were already launched in winter. Odyssey is launching a bi-weekly flight to Florence (FLR) and Tours (TUF) in France, operated by Frost Air.

Several airlines are entering routes already served, enriching the existing offer. Air Albania will offer flights to Tirana (TIA) with three weekly rotations. Ajet will now operate routes to Ankara (ESB) twice a week, while GP Aviation will operate five weekly flights to Pristina (PRN).

Strengthening connections to the Middle East
The Saudi airline Flynas will strengthen the service to Riyadh (RUH) with three weekly flights during July and August. Gulf Air will also offer two weekly flights between Geneva and Bahrain (BAH) during the peak of summer. These routes enhance connectivity to the Persian Gulf, providing more options to reach this dynamic region.

6th frequency to Addis Ababa
Ethiopian Airlines will strengthen its flight program from Geneva starting in July 2025. The airline will now offer six flights per week to Addis Ababa (ADD). Adding a Friday flight will offer travelers more options to reach Ethiopia as well as many destinations in Africa and the Indian Ocean via the Addis Ababa hub.

A wide network for easyJet and SWISS
With the addition of five new destinations, including Oslo (OSL), easyJet confirms its commitment to Genève Aéroport. The low-cost airline continues to be a major player in Geneva's air traffic, offering connections to a wide range of destinations in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.

SWISS will resume flights to Munich (MUC) and Berlin (BER), which were previously operated by Lufthansa. This resumption is part of a strategy to consolidate the offer from Geneva.
