Since November 30, 2024, and
until December 31, 2025, Swiss and French citizens holding ordinary passports can travel to China without a visa for a maximum duration of 30 days. This exemption applies to travel for business, tourism, family visits, transit, or cultural exchanges.
Swiss citizens whose stay exceeds 30 days or whose purpose of visit does not meet the mentioned conditions must continue to apply for a visa before departure.
