On December 6, easyJet will inaugurate its new route to Rovaniemi, located in the Lapland region of Finland. Situated on the Arctic Circle, Rovaniemi, also known as the home of Santa Claus's official village, is a magical destination.
The new route between Genève Aéroport and Rovaniemi will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. To mark the occasion, easyJet is launching its special "Letters to Santa" campaign. A dedicated orange mailbox, designed in easyJet's colors, has been installed in the easyJet baggage drop-off area in Terminal 1 of Genève Aéroport. Throughout December, this unique collection point will allow children to drop off their carefully written or drawn Christmas wish lists.
easyJet's pilots and crew will act as Santa's helpers, delivering the letters directly to Santa's homeland in time for Christmas. This initiative, aimed at families traveling from Genève Aéroport during the holiday season, offers a unique opportunity to immerse children in the magic of Christmas while turning their airport experience into a memorable moment.
