easyJet expands its winter offer by launching two new routes to Egypt for 2024. From Geneva, direct flights to Cairo and Marsa Alam will be available starting from November 5 and 10, respectively. These two new routes add to the two destinations already served on the Red Sea coast, namely Hurghada and Sharm el-Sheikh.
Cairo, the capital of Egypt, dazzles with its exceptional historical and cultural heritage. The city, famous for the pyramids of Giza, the Sphinx, and the Egyptian Museum, which attract visitors from all over the world, is divided by the majestic Nile. The lively districts, especially Khan el-Khalili, are renowned for their traditional markets and vibrant atmosphere. Cairo also charms with its delicious cuisine and beautiful gardens, making this metropolis a must-visit destination.
Marsa Alam, a highly sought-after destination on Egypt's eastern coast, captivates with its unspoiled natural landscapes and remarkable marine biodiversity. Famous for its white sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters perfect for diving and snorkeling, this town offers a peaceful atmosphere, far from the hustle and bustle of big cities. Nature enthusiasts can explore the surrounding deserts and observe a variety of wildlife, while nearby archaeological sites add a fascinating historical dimension to this destination.
