13.02.2024

Geneva Airport is pleased to announce that the airline Air China added a fifth weekly frequency to its flight schedule. Since April 1st, the airline offers an additional connection to Beijing every Wednesday.

Present in Geneva since 2013, Air China continues to improve its flight offerings, thus facilitating direct access between Geneva, the European seat of the United Nations, and the Chinese capital.

This is useful for business travelers, numerous diplomats, as well as Chinese tourists in Switzerland and neighboring France, and is also frequented by leisure travelers. Indeed, Beijing offers must-see sites that will satisfy the desires of all travelers.

On the agenda for this trip, a must-visit to the Great Wall, but not only that! Plan to visit the Forbidden City, located in the heart of the city and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1987. The former residence of emperors, this palace is one of the most imposing in the world. Just steps from the Forbidden City, admire Tiananmen Square and its four hundred and forty thousand square meters.

For those who enjoy strolling, head to one of the Hutongs where it is pleasant to walk. Explore this labyrinth of alleys for a journey back in time.

The city is full of spectacular temples, among which the Temple of Heaven and the Lama Temple stand out, particularly famous. Beijing also serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the rest of the country through a circuit.

Since April 1st:
