In 2024, Genève Aéroport is joining the initiative launched last year by a number of French-speaking airports: World Air Passenger Day, officially launched on 17 November. This year, several French-speaking airports and one Italian airport are taking part in the operation, keen to celebrate their passengers. A day of events and festivities is planned for travellers lucky enough to be passing through these hubs! At Genève Aéroport, Passenger Day will take place on Monday 18 November 2024.
Teams from 19 airports mobilised for this special day
The airport teams, partners and service providers at 19 airports are mobilised for this special day and will be delighted to welcome their joint customers in a festive atmosphere, with entertainment and surprises, as soon as they arrive at the airport. This special day is an opportunity to thank the many passengers who have placed their trust in them.
While the official date for this day filed by Nice Côte d'Azur airport is 17 November, the festivities will take place over one day, between 15 and 18 November 2024, depending on the participating airports:
- 15/11: Bordeaux, Carcassonne and Madagascar airports
- On 17/11: La Réunion, Nice, Perpignan and Rome airports
- On 18/11: Bastia, Geneva, Montpellier and Tarbes Lourdes Pyrénées airports.
The other participating airports are Ajaccio, Beauvais, Bergerac, Biarritz, Brest, Calvi, Charleroi and Figari.
