P1 works: advice for parking at the Airport
Because of the renovation works that will last for 3 years, (2006-2008), capacity in the P1 main car park at Geneva International Airport is greatly restricted. The six levels are closed in succession, which mean a loss of 500 parking spaces. Because of this, the P51 long-term car park (opposite the old terminal) is often full as well.
The renovation of the levels -1, -3, -4, -5 and -6 being completed, the number of places available is not currently assigned.
The works will restart on 15th September 2008 until the end of October 2008 at level -3 (250 places less).
To ensure a trouble-free journey to the Airport, we would remind you of the following options:
For passengers who still wish to come to the Airport by private car and to leave the vehicle here, we strongly recommend using the P26 (Arena) or P32/33 (CFF station) car parks:
- if you are coming from Geneva or France, do not take the first "loop" towards the terminal, and follow the signs to "Arena" instead;
- if you are coming from Lausanne, bear right under Palexpo hall 6 and follow the signs to "Arena".

flyer (only in French): access information and map of car parks

In any event, you are advised to come to the Airport sufficiently early (two hours before departure), or even to check in your bags the day before.
Geneva International Airport thanks its customers for their understanding.
